We visit the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem, Le Bristol in Paris, Das Adlon in Berlin, and Beau-Rivage in Geneva. The fateful years of these hotels are brought to life using film and photographs that have rarely been seen before. 1. American Colony Hotel, Jerusalem
